Scunthorpe have rediscovered their confidence
ALAN Knill believes his Scunthorpe United side have rediscovered their confidence after watching them pick up a point on the opening day of the campaign.
The Iron dominated for long spells at Wycombe Wanderers, who were indebted to some stylish saves from keeper Nikki Bull, and though disappointed not to have won the game, Knill believes United are moving in the right direction.

"I think we've made progress from where we were at the end of last season," he said of the 1-1 draw.
"You could see Jimmy Ryan is a top player and Jordan (Robertson) worked hard.
"And the players that were here last season look far more confident.
"Eddie Nolan was outstanding and playing right-back or left-back he's got really good feet.
"Last year he was down in the dumps and everybody was having a go at him, but now he looks like someone who is confident and enjoys playing football.
"I'm happy with the performance, disappointed with the result, because we could have taken three points, but the most important thing was to get something.
"We didn't want to come away and lose."
Knill was disappointed to see an injury-time header from Chris Dagnall ruled out for offside, but labelled it 'one of those things'.
"We played well enough in the game not to have to worry about that decision. We should have wrapped it up before that," he added.
