Scunthorpe runner Pumlani Bangani wins Deepdale Dash 10k in Barton

Scunthorpe-based Pumlani Bangani continued his fine form with victory in the Deepdale Dash.

Hundreds of runners took part in the 10k in Barton, but Bangani was first home in 33 minutes 15 seconds.

First female to the line was Jenny Blizzard, eighth overall in a time of 37.48.

James Pearcy was the first Barton and District AC runner home, in 17th, ahead of Lincsquad member Joshua Jones.
