Scunthorpe sexual assault inquiry: Did you see crooked nosed man in late 20s/early 30s?

Detectives are investigating a reported sexual assault at Ethel Court in Scunthorpe between 7pm and 9pm on Wednesday, August 29.

A 43 year-old woman was walking home down an alleyway when she was approached by two men.

One of them is alleged to have grabbed her and pushed her to the floor, where the assault took place.

The woman sustained an injury to her face.

The other man is not believed to have been involved in the assault, but police believe he could be a witness.

Following the incident, the woman got up and ran along Mary Street, while the offender and the other man ran in the direction of West Street.

One of the men is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with short dark-coloured hair.

He was of slim build, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, and was wearing a black jacket and dark trousers.

He had a crooked nose and a ring in his right ear.

The other man is described as being older with short black curly hair.
