Scunthorpe teenager chasing a place in the Miss World Teen Queen finals in China
A visit by a Scunthorpe teenager with fellow students from the town’s North Lindsey College to the national Clothes Show in Birmingham in December has put her in line to win her first-ever beauty title.
Mollie Walker (16), who is studying fashion at the college, filled in an application form to enter the Teen Queen UK contest - and thought no more of it.

She said: “It is the first time I have entered a beauty contest so I thought I stood no chance.”
To her surprise last month, Mollie was invited to attend a photographic session at studios in Kentish Town, London.

Now she is among the last 50 hopefuls to win a chance of representing England in the Miss World Teen Queen in the grand final in China during the summer.
