Second heat of 2012 Scunthorpe Rock Open cancelled due to technical hitch
A technical hitch has forced the cancellation of the second heat of the 2012 Scunthorpe Rock Open tonight (Thursday, October 11).
The second heat has now been rescheduled at The Bridge Hotel for 7.30pm on Friday, October 19.

The Colliers were voted into the final after the first heat of the 2012 Scunthorpe Rock Open
Confirmed entrants are Lock Up Laura, Smiley Mr Cam, Fateful, Ameira and Bear Makes Ninja.
Scunthorpe’s North Lindsey College has confirmed it will again be one of the sponsors of this year’s event by giving the winner’s a free day’s recording in the campus studios.

The 31st Rock Open kicked off with a bang with six bands battling against each other for a chance to compete in the coveted final.
In last week’s first heat, judges voted Haxey five-piece The Colliers into the final.
