Shame on whoever threw our post into pool after mail mix-up
May I through your columns express my utter disbelief about a recent incident.
On Wednesday morning, the postman had a lapse of memory regarding house numbers. He delivered the mail out of sequence – mail for house number 33 delivered to 31, mail for number 35 delivered to 33, and so on.
My wife, without hesitation, went to the house whose mail we got and put it through their letterbox.
But, for reasons known only to himself, one of the neighbours decided to toss/throw our mail over the fence into a pool of water.

“Well....I,m guessing you wont be talking in parcels for your neighbour under Royal Mail's proposed 'Delivered to Neighbour' scheme !”
