MANAGER Ian Baraclough has already received a 'cheeky' text message from former United hot-shot Bill Sharp.

"He said how much he was looking forward to playing against us again," said the Scunthorpe boss.

Sharp has netted in each of his two previous appearances for Doncaster against Scunthorpe – but Baraclough insists he is making no special plans to counter Sharp at the Keepmoat Stadium tomorrow.

"He has scored against us, but he has done that time and time again against a lot of other teams too," said the United boss.

"He is one of many of their players we have to watch.

"If you concentrate on one player, they have others in the team who can go and hurt you.

"It will be a tough game for us because Doncaster are a good side.

"Sean O'Driscoll has been there for a long time now and has done miracles for the club.

"He has been able to bring players in and settle them into his style of play.

"We have now got to go to Doncaster tomorrow and do exactly what we did against our other neighbours Hull."

Baraclough was delighted to see his side halt a run of five successive defeats with a 2-0 victory at Burnley on Tuesday.

"I had seen the way the lads had trained the last few weeks and there was a steely resolve to go there and get a result," he continued.

"It was important we put some sort of marker down that Millwall was not the way we want people to see us.

"Everything we asked for the players did to a man and it was a really good solid performance.

"But we know that one result at Burnley does not mean we have cracked it by any means."

    Well said that man.”
