RENEWABLES: Busi- nesspeople from across the Humber met with European business and energy representatives at a dinner at the House of Commons.
The event was hosted by Nabarro and brought together 50 business represen- tatives from the Hull and Humber region, the wider UK and Europe, as well as MPs and the chairman of the Humber LEP, Lord Haskins.
Lord Haskins emphasised the strengths of the Humber and the huge opportunities being taken up with increasing momentum by the renewable sector.
Representatives from German energy companies were also in attendance after spending two days exploring potential investment oppor- tunities around the Humber region.
