Signalling problem causes trains to stop running between Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes
A signalling problem at Barnetby has caused trains to stop running between Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes.
The train operating company affected is First TransPennine Express and the route affected runs between Manchester Airport, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Sheffield, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Barnetby, Habrough, Grimsby Town and Cleethorpes.
National Rail say replacement buses have been requested, but there is no estimate for when these will be in place and journey times between Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes will be extended by up to 60 minutes.
