Site visit delays biomass decision a month
A DECISION on the £83-million Eco2 biomass plant proposal for North Lincolnshire will not be determined the planning committee for another month.
North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee declined to discuss the £83-million Eco2 development in advance of the visit, which will take place before the next meeting on April 7.

Campaigners pledged to maintain a vocal presence outside that meeting as they battle against the proposals for the 40MW power station on the old British Sugar factory site in Scawby Brook.
Cllr Neil Poole, who represent the ward and has helped opponents organise opponents efforts, said: "I support and welcome the planning committee's decision to visit the proposed site.
"I will be urging the committee to follow the proposed travel plan route so they can fully appreciate the concerns and objections of the local residents."
Despite many objections, planning officers recommended the planning committee green light the power station.
An Eco2 spokesman said: "We accept the planning committee's decision and we look forward to this matter being resolved at the next meeting."
