“Regarding your last comment Mr Potter, sadly I have to agree. But look on the bright side...I won't have to travel far to watch them play Scunthorpe next season!!”

“FHall currently has a -6 rating for criticising the Telegraph reporting. Fanakolo objects to the criticism and receives a -4 rating. There doesn't seem to be much logic to the negative ratings' arrows on many articles or am I missing something?”

“Let me take this "story" to point out and to demonstrate the poor standard of local news reporting on this site. Last week this website announced that there was to be a charity Firewalking taking place last Sunday at Lincolnshire house. Fantastic local news and of great interest to many. I am more impressed by their follow up and report of the event with photos and interviews - ZERO, NOTHING, ZILCH. Where was a reporter and a cameraman or a reporter with a camera?

I suppose to dispatch someone on a cold Sunday evening from the Rent a Hack agency was just too much. Unless there was a webcam there to grab a screen shot then they could not even make some crud up. Toaday we get a landslide on the railway line. Fair enough, news that affects travellers but then to dream up a story that it is affecting Tata's trains is pure laziness. Should Tata's rolling stock be immune?

“Perhaps this 'news' is aimed at those in solitary confinement without the blessing of a pane of glass being the only thing between them and the sky. Although I'm not sure what they would do with the information.”

“Many thanks Simon. You know how we love your weather updates. To save you the bother tomorrow I believe there is a band of low pressure pushing in from the west creating milder temperatures.”

“Phew - long time coming. Not the snow but this "Thank the Lord for Windows" posting of a "News Story".”
