“Smacks of a bit of sensational journalism in the headline to me. The official website has light snow and 40mph gusts mainly on Saturday. 16 inches is for the Highlands of Scotland. I do wish these reporters would not go around frightening people with these inaccuracies. If you do wish to bombard us with local weather then please can you report what is forecasted locally.”

“May I just ask: define "blanket" and explain what this nonsensical means:- "Met office shows only the south coast, Lincolnshire and East Anglia are expected to be spared the least snow covering"”

“Tomorrow there will be snow for much of North Lincolnshire, with significant accumulations in places, especially on higher ground of the Pennines" --I think you'll find the Pennines aren't around these parts!”

“Who's planning the 16 inches of snow, government or met office, and if you can fix it could I have a look at their weather machine.”
