Snow stopping the monthly Brigg Farmers' Market as shoppers stock up from the stalls
The monthly Brigg Farmers' Market went ahead on Saturday - despite a couple of inches of snow overnight.
Alongside those stalls, the Saturday general market also proceeded as planned in the Market Place and along Wrawby Street.

Anglers were out in force on the Old River Ancholme in Brigg on Saturday
North Lincolnshire Council had put down sand in the town centre overnight, but a decent covering of snow fell on top, soon creating a thin carpet of slush.
Stallholders and shoppers wrapped up well against the cold, and both markets were well supported, despite some would-be visitors being put off by the weather.

Nearby, on the banks of the Old River Ancholme, a good number of anglers enjoyed their favourite sport, the public footpath near the former Spring's Stretch of the waterway also being treated by the council to help people keep their feet.
