Snow wardens prepare for further bad weather in North Lincolnshire
Preparations are in place for further snow which is expected to fall in North Lincolnshire today.
Despite forecasts suggesting Scunthorpe would see heavy snow through the afternoon and into the night, the snow has stopped for the time being.

Gritting the main roads of North Lincolnshire
North Lincolnshire councillor John Briggs, who is the snow warden for Axholme North, said: "We get updates hourly from the Met Office and we get updates from highways at North Lincolnshire Council.
"Within the local authority and my own ward, I then manage the situation and look at the gritting.

"Gritting bins have been put round and we work in conjunction with the town council.
"Members of the public get in touch about particular areas and we follow this up.
"The snow is an inconvenience, but we manage the situation."
