'Successes of region's remarkable women are so inspiring'
RECOGNISING the talents and achievements of hardworking females, this year's Women Of Achievement Awards has received a record number of entries.
Women from across Hull and East Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire will be celebrated at a glittering awards ceremony next month.
Organised by Women In Business, the awards aim to commemorate women who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to achieve their goals, at the same time inspiring others to realise their potential.
Victoria Quinn, chairwoman of Women In Business, said: "We had more entries this year than we have ever had before and we've had a really good response across all categories in the awards."

"It is really inspiring to read the entries."
The awards, which are held once every two years, are open to all women, whether working as sole traders or within a large company.
From juggling work life with raising a family, to overcoming difficult problems life throws at you, the candidates have shown the judges just how hard they work to achieve their goals.
Ms Quinn said: "I felt privileged I was able to sit on the panel and hear all of the fantastic stories from this year's entries."
The Women Of Achievement Awards give females the chance to be recognised for their successes and this year, award-winning journalist, Moira Stewart OBE will host the event.
Ms Quinn said: "The ceremony is going to be fantastic and all of the shortlisted candidates will get the chance to have the recognition they deserve."
The main sponsors of the awards are Gosschalks and The One Point, with award sponsors Strawberry, MKM, Spire Healthcare, KC Business, and First Hull Trains also showing their support.
The ceremony will take place on Friday, November 16, from noon to 5pm at The Village Hotel Marquee in Hessle.
Tickets are priced at £35 each or £350 for a table of ten. Arrival is noon for 12.30pm. For more details, visit www.womeninbusinesshull.co.uk
