The abnormal load is a 250 tonne (290 tonne total delivery weight) generator transformer, which is to be used as a strategic spare for Keadby and Medway Powerstation.

This high voltage electrical equipment is used to transmit the power that is generated by Keadby Powerstation to the national grid.
