Jack Murr scored the other two with his direct style of running through the middle.

Sheffield pulled one back, but this seemed to spur Scunthorpe on and a further six tries came through Joe Bingham (2), Murr (2), Daniel Longden and Luckasz Grab.

Grab then added his second and Horner his fourth for a 13-2 final score.

Crusaders won 6-1 against the second Sheffield team.

The visitors scored first, but Scunthorpe hit back with two from Longden.

Murr continued a prolific day with two more, while Longden put the result beyond any doubt by scoring the fifth try.

Sheffield got a consolation before Horner rounded off the scoring.

By half-time of the Rhinos' first game, they had scored four tries without reply through Jake Kreamer, Lewis Talbot, Alfie Oldridge and Emily Milner.

Talbot pushed the hosts a little further in front, but the second half belonged to the visitors, who made the final score 5-4 in Scunthorpe's favour.

In the second game, the Rhinos were 3-2 down at half-time, with scores from Kreamer and Alfie Taylor.

Scunthorpe responded with Talbot (2), Harry Robinson and Oldridge scoring. Sheffield notched another, but Robinson, Oldridge and Talbot (2) did the same for Scunthorpe.

Player of the day went to Jack Murr and tagger to Emily Milner.
