BRITAIN'S Got Talent singing sensation Susan Boyle has been snapped celebrating with Iron fans in the wake of Scunthorpe United's promotion to the Championship.

The hot favourite to take the Britain's Got Talent title, which reaches its grand final on Saturday, was pictured with fans wearing a claret and blue shirt.

The picture was posted on the Facebook page of Leanne Taylor, who is pictured with Daniel Liens, of Brigg, and Ms Boyle, 48.

The picture was sent to the Scunthorpe Telegraph's YorPix feature by Stephen Howe, of Airedale Close, Broughton.

Delighted Iron fans have been celebrating their side's 3-2 win against Millwall all week after a hard-fought campaign through a long season and the League One play offs.

As previously reported, the Iron also attracted the attention of another Britain's Got Talent star – the competition's own Mr Nasty judge Simon Cowell, who also me fans on Wembley Way after the match.

The stars were mingling with the fans in between filming of the hit ITV show, which is being recorded at television studios in the Wembley area of London.

“Dunno why people think she's so great. She can't sing any better than many others - it is her unusual (odd) looks that is getting her forward.”

“"Even the Millwall fans were good" ?? Try telling that to the 75 year old pensioner who was attacked boarding his coach after the game; or the families who were spat at and had bottles and cans thrown at them! Don't make rash statements before you know all the facts Looby (even if the majority of Millwall fans were reasonably well behaved on the day).”
