It was a case of mixed fortunes for SSC Winterton Trinity in Division One.

They were well beaten by leaders SSC Hot Heads in a match which saw Liam Rowson return to form, winning all his matches.

But, in a rearranged fixture, Winterton took maximum points against close rivals SSC Bangels in a 7-3 victory.

Mick Harris and Darren Rush were unbeaten on the night and Aaron Rush's straight sets win over Ron Ellis ensured maximum points.

SSC Musketeers had a comfortable night, overpowering struggling SSC Aces 9-1.

That result, combined with Winterton's victory over Bangels makes the league table very interesting.

Hot Heads are seemingly out of sight, but the second, third and fourth placed teams are all on the same amount of points and have all played the same amount of games.

App-Frod Titans are potentially in a position to overtake the three teams directly above them due to their two games in hand.

Hospital Crusaders crept back into pole position in Division Two thanks to a 6-4 victory over App-Frod Beavers.

Alan Bunch was the star of the show for Crusaders with a hat-trick of wins, although Shaun Foster and Luke Hornsey pushed him all the way to five sets.

App-Frod Falcons had a routine 10-0 success against SSC Angels, with Danny Shaw, Mark Woods and Fernando de Silva all in fine form.

SSC Harriers were able to field only two players against Angels and their opponents took full advantage to earn their first points of the season in a 5-5 draw.

In Division Three, second placed Imps kept the pressure on the leaders by beating close rivals Burton 7-3.

Heroes came out on top in the clash of the bottom two, with Robert Bunton and Karen Kelly putting in strong performances in an 8-2 win over an improving Pingers side.
