Fire on Tata steelworks in Scunthorpe tackled last night (Sunday)
Humberside Fire and Rescue crews were called to a blaze on the Tata Scunthorpe steelworks just after 11pm last night (Sunday, March 10).
A small portable building, approximately 3m x 5m, used as a contractors' rest room, was severely damaged by fire.

Tata Steel's own fire service attended the scene before Humberside Fire and Rescue crews arrived, entering the works from the A18.
The incident has been left with the steelworks fire team.
