Teenager spotted riding stolen bike in Scunthorpe banned for six months
POLICE spotted a teenager riding a motorcycle he claimed he found hidden in bushes, a court heard.
Josh Swaby, 18, of Hewde Lane, Winteringham, admitted stealing a motorcycle, having no insurance and driving with the wrong class of licence on October 25.

Martin Howarth, prosecuting, told North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court that police saw Swaby riding a stripped-down motorcycle in Normanby Road, Scunthorpe. It had no lights and number plates, he said.
An officer pursued Swaby on foot and he dropped the motorcycle and ran off. All identification marks had been removed by grinding them off, said Mr Howarth.
