“Think its about time the public had a say in what is done , So far planners have done nothing more than hamper the flow of traffic , a sub way is ideal doe,s not hamper traffic on this busy road , We pay their wages so we should have a say even have the power to sack none producers all in favor tick the green arrow . and yes no big pay off,s .”

“Am assuming this IS the extension of the cycle way half up the A1077 hill.
There is more of a need for a crossing between Clayfield Roundabout (at the top of Skippingdale hill) and Normanby Road Roundabout i.e. close to the allotments where hundreds (I do not exaggerate) of Foxhills workers risk life and limb crossing. This would also be better as it is a single carriageway in both directions. The stretch of road the proposed crossing on is a dual carriageway in one direction!!
Still I guess Sustrans (or whoever is funding this) think better?
PS I am a very keen cyclist!!”

“why put a crossing on this road anyway? the people who cross this road don't wait for passing traffic they just run/cycle across in front of vehicles - waste of time and money!”

“A Toucan crossing is both a Pedestrian & Cyclist crossing, this is a very busy road with a 60mph limit and there has been some very near misses. This is a step in the right direction.”

“Four weeks to install a crossing?
Surely that's a days work two if you string it out.”

“A bridge or subway would be better for traffic , A busy road why slow the flow of traffic , Is Scunthorpe council planners not up to the job of making traffic flow smoothly and efficiently . Then lets get people in that can do the job .”
