Thieves target Scunthorpe charity centre which helps autistic children
A Scunthorpe charity helping autistic children had more than £300 in cash stolen from its centre.
Thieves broke into the property on Cole Street on Saturday Night (Sept 22) and stole a variety of items.
Pat Ebbs, who started Magic Moments with her husband Matthew in 2002, said “I am devastated and we are all in complete shock.

“We have had laptops stolen, as well as about 40 video games.
“The police are currently taking evidence from the area so we have not made a full list of everything that was stolen yet.
“I think it is awful and that these people have no respect for anyone.”

“I don't know why they are 'shocked and devastated', it's par for the course nowadays.
I just can't get my head around why cash, laptops etc are left on the premises, or if they are, why aren't they locked up, out of sight, in a secure cupboard or similar.
As Brian says, scum of the Earth, but there's going to be no change in human nature any time soon, especially when there are so many soft targets about.”
