Traders' campaign for cheaper parking
NOT all traders concerned about declining footfall in North Bar have moved out.
They have campaigned for, and been rewarded with, cheaper parking rates for customers. Musical entertainment has also been put on to entice shoppers.
Now, plans are under-way to promote the area as Beverley's Georgian Quarter with promotional banners.
Beverley Town Council has applauded the scheme, which has had Government funding.
