Traffic delays as cars collide on A18 Mortal Ash Hill near Scunthorpe

TRAFFIC is beginning to build up outside Scunthorpe after two cars collided on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill.

Heading towards Forest Pines roundabout, a black Hyundai van and white Ford Mondeo came together at the Kirton in Lindsey turn-off.

Neither driver was injured in the incident, which happened shortly after 4pm today, but traffic is beginning to build up while the vehicles await recovery.

No lanes have been closed according to Humberside Police, but delays should be expected.
