Michael Nelson has joined Bradford City from Kilmarnock, a year after quitting Scunthorpe United.
Nelson, 32, moves to the League Two club for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £30,000, and won the Scottish League Cup last season while on Killie's books.
City boss Phil Parkinson says his experience will be vital as his side look to maintain their challenge for promotion.

“Michael knows his way round the football pitch," he said.
"He’s a strong player who wins headers and gets his blocks in and that’s what we are going to need."
Nelson will be reunited with his former Iron team-mate Garry Thompson, who agreed a contract at Valley Parade last summer.
