AFTER waking up to a light dusting of snow this morning, more is forecast to fall in North Lincolnshire throughout the day despite some sunny intervals.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow in Yorkshire and the Humber, with temperatures around freezing to begin with.

The snow showers are expected to be frequent, with sleet, hail and snow all possible in the region.

Heavy snow showers are predicted at mid-morning, followed by some sunny spells in the afternoon and highs of 3 degrees Celsius.
