A mostly dry day is expected across North Lincolnshire today, forecasters say.

The latest weather forecast from the Met Office suggests there could be some sunny intervals from later this morning.

After a cold start to the day, temperatures are expected to gradually climb from -1C to a high of 5C by mid afternoon.

Conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy, although several sunny intervals are predicted, while there could be some light rain showers later this afternoon.

Temperatures are then predicted to drop to around 1C overnight and there is a chance of some wintry showers of sleet and light snow in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
