UPDATE: Pedestrian injured in B1430 collision on Thealby Hill near Winterton remains stable

A pedestrian remains in a stable condition following a road traffic collision in Winterton on Monday.

He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance following the incident on the B1430 Thealby Hill which happened at around 11pm.

The 42-year-old is being treated for a 'number of injuries' after being involved in a collision with a red Citroen C3.

This morning (Thursday, March 21), his condition is said to be 'stable'.

The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old woman from Scunthorpe, was uninjured.
