UPDATED: Armed police sent to Spencer Avenue in Scunthorpe
Detectives investigating last Friday's armed robbery at a shop on Wells Street in Scunthorpe today (October 26) arrested another man in his 20s.
A search warrant was executed at an address on Spencer Avenue in the town.
A police statement issued at 2.23pm today said specially trained officers remained at the scene.
The man who was arrested remains in custody at Scunthorpe Police Station, on Corporation Road, awaiting questioning.

A man in his 20s who was arrested last Saturday (October 20) remains on police bail.
As these pictures show, some of the police at the scene were armed. No shots were fired.
