Gary Hooper expected to feature for Celtic this weekend
FORMER Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper is expected to pull on the green and white shirt of Celtic for the first time this weekend.
The Scottish giants are taking part in the annual Emirates Cup tournament hosted by Arsenal.

They play French side Lyon this afternoon before facing the Gunners tomorrow.
And Hooper is expected to play some part in one if not both of those games in his first taste of action since his £2.4million move from Glanford Park at the start of this week.
And if he catches the eye of manager Neil Lennon, then Hooper might just have some part to play next Wednesday as Celtic try to retrieve a 3-0 deficit against SC Braga in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
"I've shown I can score goals in the Championship. Now I need to show I can do it in the Champions League and SPL," he told the Scottish media.
"I owe Neil Lennon for this chance. I need to repay his faith in me.
"My target for the season is 20 goals – that's my minimum aim. I just want to get as many as I can get. I am here to score goals."

“Where are all you 'positive types' at home games? Every Iron fan I know is as miserible as sin, negative and expecting the worse...there is very little encouragement and hardly any singing - do you lads only put your 'positive hats' on when online?”

“1500 Club.
1. Stop being so bloody miserable
2. We don't need a Hooper replacement. We have new, young, hungry strikers to train up. We can't afford 'a hooper replacement's' wages.
3. We can survive this season, McNulty is better than Williams. Have you seen Mcnulty play?
4. Why don't you go support a larger team like Leeds or Dull? You want to see as a big Champ team who can spend money like water. I just hope I never meet a fan like you.”

“Apology accepted...just not the further essay of bed wetting over youtube clips and syrupy patronism over a smaller club!
PS any news in Scotland of any sell on clause included?”
