Unemployment in North Lincolnshire shown to be falling
Unemployment in North Lincolnshire fell last month, according to new figures.
Official data from the Office for National Statistics shows 4,595 people were claiming the Jobseekers' Allowance benefit in the region in November.
This represents a drop of 210 from the 4,805 people claiming the benefit in October and is the lowest level of unemployment in the region since May 2011.
The figure for November represents 4.5 per cent of the region's working-age population and compares with the Yorkshire and Humber average of 4.6 per cent. The national average is 3.7 per cent.

Youth unemployment also fell, from 1,485 in October to 1,320 in November.
But the number of 18 to 24-year-olds claiming Jobseekers' Allowance in North Lincolnshire represents 10.6 per cent of the age-group population.
This remains above the Yorkshire and Humber average of 8.1 per cent and the national average of seven per cent.
