event: The University of Hull is to host a landmark seminar, describing how the region can reduce energy bills, cut carbon emissions and create jobs all at the same time.

The event will be held at the University's Business School on Tuesday, from 4pm to 6pm, and will see the launch of a significant report conducted specifically for the Humber by the Centre For Low Carbon Futures, an evidence-based research organisation, in which the University is a core founding partner.

The report has already been presented to the board of the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership and is now to be put before businesses, policy-makers and other influential organisations who, it is hoped, will take up the findings and turn them into firm actions.
