VIDEO: Head shaving and leg waxing in North Lincolnshire for Comic Relief
FUNDRAISERS in Scunthorpe have been going the extra mile to raise money for Comic Relief, putting their bodies on the line for charity.
Students and staff at Huntcliff School in Kirton-in-Lindsey raised over £1,000 for Red Nose Day, holding a Big Huntcliff Bake Off, Bushtucker Trial and Big Wax Off - involving brave male students and staff.
Sainsbury's in Scunthorpe, off Doncaster Road, managed to raise over £15,000 for Comic Relief, with the best entertainment coming from two members of staff having their heads shaved to raise cash.
And the head shaving didn't stop at the supermarket, with two more fundraisers sacrificing their body hair for a good cause.

One member of staff at Baytree Court care home, in Scunthorpe, had her head shaved for the charity, with another having a sponsored leg wax. Overall, Baytree Court managed to raise over £300 for Comic Relief.
Now in its 25th year, Comic Relief has managed to raise a record £75million so far.
Among the celebrities getting involved were X Factor boss Simon Cowell, who took part in a comedy sketch with David Walliams and Louis Walsh, while singer Jessie J shaved her head to raise cash.
There was also an eagerly anticipated return to the screen for Ricky Gervais' comedy character David Brent, and an appearance from James Corden's Gavin and Stacey character, Smithy.
