There are also problems at Barnetby Top around the A15. Motorists in Brigg are also reporting journeys to Scunthorpe taking as long as 50 minutes due to problems around the Forest Pines roundabout.
There are no reported problems on the trains that serve the region.
Firefighters attended a two-car accident on the A18 near Great Limber this morning.
It happened at 8.05am in poor weather conditions on a road which has seen a number of serious accidents in the past.
The collision involved a Renault Scenic and a Peugeot 406.
The road was closed in both directions as the emergency services worked to rescue the injured people, who were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. See video below.
