Veteran prop Dunk is chucked in at deep end
VETERAN front row Mick Dunk was back in the first-team squad for the first time in more than a year at the weekend.
And while the colourful character made plenty of noise with the quality of his performance after coming off the bench, the 52-year-old was surprised at how quiet things have become off it.

Veteran Mick Dunk enjoyed a rare day with the Greens' first-team at South Leicester – though not the quiet bus on the way home
Dunk regularly turned out for Scunthorpe during their previous stint in the National League 10 years ago.
With two of their regular forwards unavailable for the trip to South Leicester, he got the chance to do so again after impressing coach Tim Robinson with his effort and ball-carrying abilities when playing for Market Rasen in a friendly against the Greens.

"Dunky played in a friendly we had against Market Rasen over Christmas. In fact, as they only came with 13 players, he ended up playing for them for 60 minutes," Robinson explained.
"All of our lads, when they came off, said he'd been a menace to play against and that jogged my memory.
"When I watched the DVD he carried most of their ball and played very well.
"It was nice I could call on him on Saturday because Guy Mychajluk was moving house that day and so was unable to play and Richard Tomlinson is still struggling with a back injury.
"I think he enjoyed it on Saturday – he had a good 20 minutes and did well, even though he said he was nervous before the game.
"There were a few things Dunky found different I think.
"On the bus on the way home he likes to have a beer and a bit of a sing song, but with the new lads being a bit more professional, a lot of them don't drink and they certainly don't do the singing.
"He was a bit unhappy about being on a quiet bus on the way back."
