Waiting times could be reduced at Scunthorpe General Hospital pharmacies

WAITING times at Scunthorpe General Hospital's pharmacies could be cut after the awarding of a new contract.

Lloyds pharmacy has been awarded the contract to provide dispensing services for outpatients at the hospital.

The company says this will free up the hospital pharmacists' time to concentrate on giving the best care and attention to inpatients and specialist medicines dispensing.

James Murray, head of business development for Lloyds pharmacy, said: "We are delighted to have entered this partnership with Northern Lincolnshire Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
