Water a lot of power we have
HYDROPOWER stations could be built across North Lincolnshire after seven potential locations were identified in an Environment Agency report.
Of the sites in North Lincolnshire, two could generate up to 100KW, two a maximum of 20KW each and three more up to 10KW.

Hydropower stations like this one in Monmouth could be established across the region.
By comparison, the eight Bagmoor Farm wind turbines generates about 16MW - equivalent 16,000KW.
Average set up costs range from £100,000 to £150,000.
The Environment Agency has stressed only schemes which are well designed and have no negative impacts on the river wildlife or the local environment would actually get the go ahead.
Green Party activist Jan Clark said: "It's very interesting to see the detail and generally I welcome it.
"As fossil fuels are running out, we must not in the future put all our eggs in one basket. We can't have all solar power or all wind power.
"I think it would be useful if any stations could serve the local area, because you lose a lot of power if you have to transport it.
"The final point is we must also cut down out energy use."
Lord Hunt of Kings Heath, Minister of State for Energy said: "Small scale hydropower is potentially one of the most cost-effective means of producing clean, green and home grown renewable electricity."
