Forecasts show between 2 to 5cm of snow is likely to fall across the region.

Light snow showers are expected to hit the Scunthorpe area at 6pm this evening and this will continue through to midnight, when it will turn to light snow.

Forecasts warn of light snow continuing through the night, until 9am tomorrow morning (Sunday, February 24).
