Weather update: Gritters not expected to be out in North Lincolnshire tonight
Gritting teams are not currently expected to be called into action across North Lincolnshire tonight (Thursday, January 10).
Heavy rain is expected this evening but temperatures are forecast to remain above freezing point overnight and into tomorrow.

In a message on social network twitter, North Lincolnshire Council's highways team tweeted: "Gritting: 10 Jan. Road temperatures expected to remain above freezing. No action. Continuing to monitor the situation. Drive carefully."
The latest weather forecast predicts temperatures will fall no lower than 3C overnight tonight, although light rain may continue to fall until around 5am.

Tomorrow and Saturday are forecast to be mostly cloudy, although heavy snow is expected to hit the region in the early hours of Sunday.
There are currently no reported traffic incidents on the region's roads.
