Wednesday car boot sales in Brigg given go-ahead by planners
Popular car boot sales in Brigg have been supported by North Lincolnshire Council.
Wednesday sales were established some months ago near the railway station - on the site used by the well-established Stennett's Auction.
A planning application was submitted last summer and the council has now granted permission to change the use of land on Station Road to hold a car boot sale on Wednesday every week between 9am and 3pm.
As a condition of the consent, pedestrian and vehicle route through the site to Brigg station must be provided while car boot sales are being held.

However, there are currently no passenger trains on Wednesdays that call at Brigg.
Planning permission was sought by Mr A. Connell, Glanford Park Car Boot, of Luddington.
The application was lodged with the council last July but a decision has only recently been announced.
Stennett's produce auction is held every Thursday, weather permitting.
