MARCUS Williams admitted it was good to be 'home' after re-joining Scunthorpe United on loan until the end of the season.

The left-back had only left Glanford Park for Reading in the summer, but with first team chances hard to come by, he has since been farmed out to Peterborough.

"I heard about it last week, on Thursday or Friday time," said Williams of the move back to his former club.

"It was a great opportunity for me to get games. I know the club and it is good to be back home.

"I had previously been here a long time and it is a familiar ground for me. I have not been back home in a while so it is good to be back home among family and friends.

"But just to get games means it is the right move.

"It does feel a bit strange but at the same time it is exciting."
