A STRONG end to the season could yet see Winterton boss Richard Sennett achieve the aims he set out at the beginning of his tenure at the club.

Sennett has guided his side to a Lincolnshire Senior Trophy final and a Presidents Cup semi clash with Dinnington next Tuesday.

But a top eight finish is still vying for top spot in his list of targets, with Thackley at home next up.

"The aim for us is to finish as high up the league as possible," said Sennett, whose side lost 1-0 to Scarborough in midweek.

"If we can finish in the top eight then we have done really well with a new team."
