Woman punched man in Scunthorpe pub and poured beer over him
A WOMAN punched a man in the face in a Scunthorpe pub after pouring a glass of beer over him, a crown court heard.
Cara Marsden, 27, formerly of Earlsgate, Winterton, admitted assaulting Andrew Booth, causing actual bodily harm, on January 11.

Phillip Evans, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that Mr Booth was having a drink in a Scunthorpe pub when Marsden became angry with him.
She poured a glass of beer over him and, as he turned, she punched him in the face as he grabbed her jacket.

Howard Shaw, mitigating, said Marsden had no previous convictions and was currently detained under the Mental Health Act.
She would continue to receive help for a few more months.
Marsden was given a one-year conditional discharge.
