X Factor recognises Bottesford talent Jake Quickenden who makes top six
Bottesford singer Jake Quickenden has made it into the top six in the boys' category on ITV's X Factor talent contest which is enjoyed by millions of people across the UK.
In a nail-biting episode, Jake became the final boy to make it through to the Judges' Houses part of the contest next week.
He will then have to impress the boys' mentor, singer Nicole Scherzinger, to make it through to the live shows.
Nicole said: "I have one of the potential winners in my category."

“I was sitting on the edge of my seat even though I knew he had made it through. When Bootcamp was being filmed last month local tweeter, @thehamst who me and my friend Brian follow, had tweeted that Jake had got through to the Judges Houses stage, but I still found myself biting my nails.”
