You can buy bacon direct from new Scunthorpe factory shop if planners give go-ahead
A Scunthorpe firm wants to sell its bacon products direct to the public - and its own staff - from a new unit on the outskirts of the town.
The Karro Food Group is seeking permission to use a metal container on Billet Lane, on the Foxhills industrial estate, for what it describes as a new development.

Bringing home the bacon for breakfast from Billet Lane will be possible if North Lincolnshire Council approves the application for permission
The container will house a shop from which the food processing firm wishes to sell bacon and pork products direct to customers.
Fridge-freezers will display the products on offer through cash sales.
