A total of 200 groups can benefit from the campaign and time is running out to secure a place on the list.
Among the organisations to have registered for a share of the cash is Rushby Dance and Fitness, based in Barton-Upon- Humber.
Chris Rushby, principal at the centre, on Maltkiln Road, said: "We have registered because it is a very good incentive to raise cash.
"I have got an idea of providing a new activity that would be good for the whole community and help with funding that would be amazing.
"Cash For Your Community is generating interest in the Telegraph and within our customer base and our community. Hopefully, we will be able to increase interest and we have got a very clear idea of where we would channel the cash."
The campaign has returned this year after proving successful in 2011.
Telegraph readers will decide how much money is given to each group by collecting voting coupons.
They will be printed in the newspaper from Thursday, November 22.
A list of the final 200 groups will also be printed in that week's edition.
Registration forms – the last of which is printed below – should be sent to Cash For Your Community, Northcliffe Newspapers, Telegraph House, 80 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby, DN31 3EH.
