No culture in Scunthorpe and it's getting worse
MIKE Nainby says you cannot give an absolute answer to the demise of the town centre (Scunthorpe Telegraph letters, February 28).
The simple truth Mike: The town centre attracts the less fortunate who don't have the money to spend. The town centre attracts all-day drinkers to buy cheap booze. Get the message? The new Baths Hall has a full house for Chubby Brown and similar acts. The Halle Orchestra attracted a half-filled hall. This shows what sort of people we are.
