I READ with interest that David Miliband "thanks Scunthorpe" and pledges he will not let Scunthorpe down in his bid to become the leader of the Labour Party.

I would like Mr Miliband to know that "Scunthorpe" did not vote for him, only the few who belong to the Scunthorpe Labour Party.
