“FLOWER POWER: This weekend sees Snowdrop Sunday at Elsham Hall Country Park, near Brigg.
During the afternoon on February 12, visitors can wander through a wonderland of these lovely little winter flowers that herald the approach of spring.
Over the past few years, with help of snowdrop specialist Cliff Curtis, Elsham’s Gervase and Clare Elwes have added some of the rarer varieties of snowdrop to the huge white carpet of flowers in the park and this year these new blooms will be looking their best.
There will also be the chance to enjoy light refreshments in the courtyard in front of a lovely warm fire.
The park is open from noon until 4pm, entry is £3 with under-15s free and all proceeds will be divided between Elsham Church and the Save the Children Fund.”
